ive been working as a NICU nurse for a year and a half. when i started my job, i planned to give it 3 months to see if i liked it. if i hated it, i was packing up my bags and going au pair in france. ultimately i stayed, and im glad i did. however, now im in the process of applying for a masters program in france. to go would require me to give up a very stable situation and leave behind family and friends. to stay would be to betray my true desires and longest standing dream.
