my dad is making me pick the restaurant for his birthday. he didn’t like any of my suggestions and gave absolutely zero input 🙄 so i come to you all criteria: we took him to tao downtown a few years ago and he stills talks abt how much he loved it there (bc he’s a bad bitch) so something similar to that as far as vibe, menu, and price point. doesn’t necessarily need to be asian cuisine
