I’m realising that I never had someone to look up to or teach me to healthily express and process my anger. I’ve spent many years repressing, downplaying and ignoring my anger. Yesterday I was angry and I expressed how I was feeling, my anger and frustration and my partner made space for me and my anger. I didn’t yell or direct my anger at him but spoke freely and it was cathartic. How have you learned to express and move through your anger in a healthy and safe way?
