can someone (men) explain the fascination behind laura palmer/the laura palmer photo? i have had multiple men describe a picture of me as my “laura palmer” photo, and i’ve just seen a man have the laura palmer pic as his insta pfp. at first i thought it was just a digital camera/candid photo vibe thing, but now it feels like there might actually be a whole culture behind it… i have never seen twin peaks, but men comparing me to a fictional murdered woman in order to flirt is quickly losing its cuteness. someone please explain!!!!
