Just an incredible song. Really smooth delivery on all fronts without feeling too poppy. Killer bassline, one of my favs to warm up with / play around on.

This is a bit broad, but I really enjoy walking around large buildings when there's no one around. There's a nuclear science complex in my university that has a very desolate utilitarian feel, so that's always fun to just walk around.

An in-browser toybox OS that has a bunch of fun stuff packed into it. I probably haven't seen everything on it even though I've known about it for a few years. Used to host myspace93 which was one of my favorite social sites in high school lmao.

okay yes maybe its short because its a childrens book, but that doesn't detract from it being a classic of postmodern literature

i think people donโ€™t utilize their local libraries enough when theyโ€™re such wonderful resources! one of my favorite things to stem from the library and library cards is the app โ€œlibbyโ€! itโ€™s an amazing way to get free books, audiobooks, and magazines digitally. completely free if you have a library card (which are also totally free!) go support your local library!

It can give new perspective on what's actually around you. A lot of the time, the veil of the windshield and fiberglass can keep the outside world as more of a backdrop instead of a lived-in space.

Three picks: God Hates a Coward - Tomahawk (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0aA5NxTujqg) I don't quite remember when I found this, but it was one of those rare occasions where you decide that a song is now one of your lifetime favorites, even before its done playing. It has the perfect blend of live rawness (not that the band is ever short of that in-studio), while still being executed basically perfectly. It also helps that Mike Patton is one of the most encompassing musicians/performers ever. The performance speaks for itself though. Live in Paris (1979) - The Cure (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZVlsfBU51So) What can I say about The Cure that hasn't already been said. I prefer their edgier, darker stuff (I can admit my own angst), and they have a version of A Forest on here that is just so well into that pocket. There used to be a version with video as well, but it kept getting taken down, hopefully the audio-only version doesn't. This and a blunt... I Just Want a House - Iguana Death Cult (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hG15XJjLabM) In short, makes me want to run.

An under appreciated Led Zeppelin track, Achilles Last Stand wears its tone in its title. Clocking in at a little under 11 minutes, it's one of those songs that just makes your heart swell in anticipation and melt under the immense weight of its composition. I only like to listen to it every now and then to keep it from losing its potency.

What's essential will depend on every individual, but these are some albums that are very informative to my taste: * Exmilitary - Death Grips * Led Zeppelin IV - Led Zeppelin * Plastic Surgery Disasters / In God We Trust, Inc. - Dead Kennedys * Black on Both Sides - Mos Def * Rage Against the Machine - Rage Against the Machine * The Clown - Charles Mingus * If I Had a Hammer - Pete Seeger * Master of Reality - Black Sabbath I could probably list a hundred more, but that's the skinny.

I've been in the habit of recreating print designs, or just creating my own, and printing them at any print shop I can find (local places, CVS, etc...) It unlocks a bit of your brain when you realize you can just design something and have it blown up on your wall for relatively cheap.
