This book is utterly exceptional. If you hate science fiction, let this be the one sci-fi book you ever read. A beautiful dive into (a)theism and one man's grapple with mortality and the human condition. Could not recommend this one enough!!
It's a super quick walk from my spot and is a BEAUTIFUL diner. It's cash only too which only enhances the feel, and they have donut french toast. What else could you possibly want?
This is a game I play with myself when I'm done washing my hands at work. I'll see how far away I can shoot the "bathketball" (paper towel) into the garbage can. And yes I keep track of my stats (87% 3-point accuracy and have yet to miss a shot from mid-range)
I'm currently binging the whole thing because of my deep love for Zach Woods and can confidently say that it's not gonna eclipse the first two seasons. Also big shouts Bill Haverchuck, love the beard and Satanist angle.
They all have such little sad boy names it's amazing. I know most people watch these and feel a wanton longing for what used to be, but for some reason it just re-instills in me that I am exactly where I need to be - that that sad teenager has evolved into a better person, and that makes me smile :)
